Position Overview
An established and growing engineering and consulting organization is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its Transportation practice in the New England region. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex transportation projects for state agencies and municipalities, with a primary focus in New Hampshire and broader exposure across the Northeast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage transportation design and planning projects from start to finish
  • Oversee multi-disciplinary project teams and ensure successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects
  • Develop scopes of work, budgets, and schedules, while monitoring overall project performance
  • Serve as a client-facing leader for public agencies and municipalities
  • Mentor and develop junior staff while strengthening team capabilities
  • Support business development efforts, including proposals and client engagement
  • Ensure quality control and quality assurance standards are met across deliverables
  • Play a key role in expanding transportation services across the New England region

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (engineering or related field preferred)
  • 10+ years of experience in transportation project management
  • PMP, CCM, DBIA, or similar certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
  • Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or transportation projects
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license
  • Degree in civil, structural, or transportation engineering
  • Experience working with State DOTs or municipal transportation agencies
  • Background supporting proposals and client presentations
  • Strong familiarity with transportation projects across New England
