Senior Water/Water Resources Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead engineer on public infrastructure projects, overseeing design, documentation, and construction support.
• Conduct preliminary research and prepare engineering reports.
• Develop and manage project work plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Produce detailed design and construction drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with local jurisdictions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead client communications, including kickoff meetings, design reviews, and project updates.
• Supervise and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and GIS-based exhibits.
• Conduct site visits and document findings.
• Support business development efforts and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on public works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related design tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams with minimal supervision.
• Experience in hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater management, and flood analysis is a plus.
