Role Summary

The Technical Project Manager leads engineering service initiatives across turbine systems and auxiliary equipment. This role involves managing a portfolio of technical projects, mentoring project managers, and driving improvements in reliability, maintainability, and cost-efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor a team of technical project managers
  • Identify training needs and support professional development
  • Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and execution
  • Resolve complex technical and project-related challenges
  • Serve as escalation point for project issues and stakeholder communication
  • Align cross-functional teams on project goals and timelines
  • Report on project portfolio performance to senior leadership
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives
  • Utilize project management tools (e.g., Windchill, MS Project)
  • Travel up to 20%

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, or related engineering field
  • 7+ years of experience leading large-scale engineering projects in power generation
  • Experience with team capacity planning and resource management
  • Proficiency in project analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
  • Familiarity with KPI development and performance reporting
