ITS Project Manager - Transportation Infrastructure (Florida-Based)
A nationally recognized, multidisciplinary consulting firm is seeking a full-time, on-site ITS Project Manager to lead Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) maintenance and operations in Florida. This is a high-impact role for a motivated professional with a strong background in engineering, construction, or infrastructure asset management.

Role Overview
The ITS Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related activities and will be responsible for the daily oversight, coordination, and quality assurance of ITS maintenance operations. This includes supervising personnel, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with protocols, and maintaining high standards of performance across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all contract activities and personnel
Collaborate with agency representatives to plan and execute maintenance tasks
Oversee staff training to ensure alignment with contract standards and procedures
Review and approve deliverables related to the ITS Maintenance Program
Recommend equipment specifications and assist in developing operational procedures
Manage procurement of tools, spare parts, and supplies
Monitor inventory and budget usage to ensure cost efficiency
Prepare and submit monthly invoices, progress reports, and cost summaries
Ensure staffing levels and qualifications meet contract requirements
Conduct weekly coordination meetings and provide timely meeting summaries
Facilitate repairs, upgrades, and installations of ITS equipment and systems
Liaise with agency staff, vendors, and consultants to resolve technical issues
Attend construction and utility coordination meetings as required
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the overseeing agency
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience managing ITS, asset maintenance, or infrastructure programs
Strong understanding of ITS technologies and maintenance practices
Proven leadership and team management capabilities
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to simplify technical concepts
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and PowerPoint for scheduling and presentations
Ability to write clear technical reports and correspondence
Willingness to be available on-call 24/7
Certification in Advanced Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) required
ITSFM maintainer-level training must be obtained within one month of start date
Experience coordinating real-time operational priorities
Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and performance evaluation of ITS systems
