About the Role
We're partnering with a leading energy infrastructure developer and owner to hire a Director of Structured Finance & Capital Markets. This is a senior-level role focused on complex deal structuring, capital raising, and financial strategy for large-scale renewable and thermal projects. The position offers exposure to high-value transactions, strategic partnerships, and leadership opportunities within a growing organization.
What You'll Do
- Lead financing transactions for utility-scale projects, including debt, tax equity, and common equity
- Structure and negotiate term sheets, oversee legal documentation, and manage closing processes
- Own and optimize financial models for project finance; run sensitivity analyses and scenario planning
- Develop and maintain relationships with lenders, tax equity investors, and strategic partners
- Mentor and manage analysts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial modeling and deal execution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with development, engineering, legal, and asset management teams
- Conduct financial due diligence across EPC, O&M, interconnection, real estate, permitting, and insurance
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or CFA preferred
- 8-10 years in investment banking, structured finance, or project finance
- Expertise in debt/equity financing models, tax equity structures, and PPA/hedge modeling
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (complex formulas, macros)
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills
- Knowledge of ISO/RTO energy markets preferred
