Structural Bridge Engineer
Our client, a well‑established and growing civil engineering and surveying firm in the Midwest, is expanding their Bridge Department and is seeking an experienced Structural Bridge Engineer to join their team. With over 25 years in business and more than 2,000 successfully delivered engineering and surveying projects, our client has built a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality transportation and infrastructure solutions across Missouri and Illinois. Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design primarily for bridge projects
- Prepare structural calculations, plans, specifications, and PS&E documents
- Support and deliver projects for State DOT clients, with a strong preference for MoDOT and/or IDOT experience
- Coordinate with internal team members and external stakeholders to ensure high‑quality project outcomes
- Produce clear technical documentation and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an accredited program (minimum)
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in Missouri
- Minimum of 5 years of structural engineering experience
- Proven experience delivering DOT transportation projects
- Proficiency with the following software:
- LEAP Bridge Concrete CONNECT
- LPile
- MicroStation V8i
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $95,000 - $130,000 (commensurate with experience and licensure)
