The Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join its growing South Carolina team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and high-impact projects while collaborating with experienced engineers and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze structural systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects
  • Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, architects, and project managers
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments as required
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
  • Support project delivery from concept through construction
  • Assist in mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • 4+ years of structural design experience (flexible depending on level)
  • P.E. Licensed
  • Working knowledge of structural analysis and design software (e.g., RAM, ETABS, STAAD, or similar)
  • Familiarity with US design codes and standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
