Structural Engineer
A growing engineering consultancy is seeking a Structural Staff Engineer to support the design and preparation of construction documents across a range of project types and building materials.
As part of a collaborative design team, this role offers exposure to the full project lifecycle-from initial design through construction. You'll have opportunities to build project management skills, contribute to internal design efforts, and interact directly with clients.
This position requires strong technical fundamentals, clear communication, and a proactive, professional approach. The ideal candidate is adaptable, creative, and motivated to grow within a dynamic environment, including supporting the development of a newer office presence.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 0-7 years of structural design experience
- EIT certification required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a team
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and with clients
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to coordinate with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Willingness to travel locally and occasionally domestically as needed
