An established specialty contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations on complex building envelope restoration projects throughout the Washington, DC region. The company specializes in façade restoration, masonry repair, concrete restoration, waterproofing, parking structure rehabilitation, and historic preservation projects.

Position Summary
The Superintendent will be responsible for managing day-to-day field operations, coordinating labor and subcontractors, maintaining jobsite safety, and ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site construction activities from project kickoff through completion.
- Supervise field crews, foremen, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and project logistics.
- Maintain project schedules and drive production goals.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance.
- Monitor quality control and ensure work is completed according to specifications.
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Collaborate with Project Managers regarding scheduling, manpower, and budget performance.
- Maintain daily reports, safety documentation, and progress updates.
- Interface with owners, consultants, property managers, and building representatives.
- Troubleshoot field issues and implement effective solutions.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience within restoration, waterproofing, masonry, concrete, or specialty contracting.
- Strong understanding of building envelope systems and restoration construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Experience managing commercial, institutional, healthcare, government, or historic restoration projects.
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license.
