I'm working with a nationally recognized accounting and advisory firm that is expanding its Private Wealth and Entrepreneurial Tax practice across the United States. We are seeking an accomplished Tax Partner to lead high‑value client relationships, shape strategic growth, and oversee sophisticated advisory work for high‑net‑worth individuals, family offices, and entrepreneurial clients.

This is an opportunity for a seasoned private client specialist who thrives on complex planning, client advocacy, and building a top‑tier advisory offering on a national stage.


Role Overview

As a Tax Partner, you will guide clients through a broad range of US tax matters, with particular emphasis on:

Private Wealth & Tax Planning

  • High‑level tax minimization strategies
  • Capital gains planning and optimization
  • Estate and gift tax strategies, including intergenerational wealth transfer

Trusts & Estates

  • Tax planning, compliance, and fiduciary advisory for trusts and estates
  • Collaboration with attorneys, trustees, and wealth advisors to coordinate integrated solutions

Family Office Services

  • Managing the tax and financial affairs of ultra‑high‑net‑worth families
  • Providing oversight across investment structures, governance, and reporting

Entrepreneurial & Closely Held Business Services

  • Advisory support throughout the business lifecycle, from startup through exit
  • Expertise with early‑stage investment structures, including planning around incentives such as SEIS/EIS equivalents for US investors, QSBS (Section 1202), and other federal/state reliefs

Non‑Domicile / Residency & Cross‑Border Tax

  • Advising globally mobile clients on US residency, domicile considerations, and international tax exposure
  • Coordinating planning for expatriates, inbound individuals, and cross‑jurisdictional families

Candidate Profile

  • Experienced at the Managing Director/Partner level within Private Client, Trusts & Estates, or Entrepreneurial Tax
  • Strong technical background with the ability to lead multi‑disciplinary US tax engagements
  • Demonstrated ability to build long‑term client relationships with HNW/UHNW individuals and family offices
  • Proven business development capability and comfort operating in a commercial growth‑oriented environment
  • A collaborative, people‑focused leader capable of mentoring teams and shaping practice direction
