[THA] Data Center Director
As Data Centre Sector Lead, you will drive growth in Thailand's rapidly evolving data center market. This role focuses on expanding market share across project management consulting, cost & commercial management, and principal delivery services. You will lead high-performing teams, manage client relationships, and ensure successful delivery of large-scale data center projects for hyperscale operators, colocation providers, and investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and secure new opportunities across all data center service lines. Build strong relationships with hyperscale, colocation, and investor clients to drive revenue and profitability.
- Leadership: Mentor and manage project and cost management teams. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Project Delivery: Oversee planning and execution of data center projects, ensuring milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met. Act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with regional teams to share best practices and support cross-border delivery initiatives.
- Performance Management: Achieve or exceed annual revenue, margin, and profitability targets.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum 12 years in project/program management or cost management, ideally within data centers or complex technical infrastructure. Experience with hyperscale cloud providers or colocation operators is highly desirable.
- Leadership & Commercial Acumen: Proven ability to grow accounts, win new work, and deliver profitable projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of data center design, construction, and operations (power, cooling, IT infrastructure). Familiarity with sustainability and emerging tech trends (AI/ML).
- Regional Expertise: Experience in Thailand or ASEAN markets; knowledge of local regulations and business culture is advantageous.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's preferred). Professional certifications (PMP, CEng, etc.) are a plus.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English; Thai language proficiency is an asset. Ability to travel regionally.
