Transmission Project Manager - Remote (Travel Required)
We are seeking a skilled Transmission Project Manager to join our Power Delivery team. This role involves managing a variety of transmission projects and can be performed remotely, with monthly travel required to and within the Ameren service territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of transmission project execution, including initiation, design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, including coordination with external vendors and contractors.
- Serve as the primary authority for project-related issues, guiding assigned personnel and ensuring alignment across teams.
- Direct project teams and oversee the full project management lifecycle.
- Track key performance metrics, report to stakeholders, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering management, construction management, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the construction, electric power, or communications industry.
- At least five (5) years of relevant project management experience, including leadership on large or complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management processes and tools.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools within a utility setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience in project controls and risk management.
