Traveling Superintendent

Core focus includes water and sewer systems, underground utilities, site development, and pump station construction. With a growing portfolio of projects concentrated in northern Louisiana and Mississippi, we are seeking a dedicated Traveling Construction Superintendent to join the team.
Position Overview:
As a Traveling Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all field operations on assigned projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires extensive travel within our primary project regions and strong leadership in managing crews, subcontractors, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily field operations on heavy civil construction projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Enforce safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Manage site logistics, equipment, and materials.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
- Lead and motivate field crews to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on underground utilities, water/sewer systems, sitework, and pump stations.
- Proven track record as a superintendent or similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and project scheduling.
- Ability to travel extensively and work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
