Water Supply Lead - ANZ
We are currently working closely with an engineering consultancy who are expanding their team in Australia and looking for a Water Lead to spearhead the growth of the water service line across Australia. This is a strategic leadership role focused on building and expanding our water infrastructure and water treatment capabilities nationally. You will be responsible for shaping the national strategy, driving business development, and ensuring technical excellence in project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a national water strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Identify emerging market trends and opportunities within the water sector.
- Build and grow a high-performing water team across Australia.
- Business Development
- Leverage your extensive client network to secure new projects and partnerships.
- Lead bid preparation, proposals, and negotiations to win major water infrastructure and treatment projects.
- Represent the company at industry events and forums to enhance brand visibility.
- Technical Delivery & Project Management
- Oversee the technical design and delivery of water infrastructure and treatment projects.
- Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to project teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
- Proven track record in leading water infrastructure or water treatment projects.
- Extensive network within the Australian water sector and strong client relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in business development, strategic planning, and team leadership.
- Strong technical expertise in water systems design, construction, and delivery.
- Excellent project management skills, including budget and schedule control.
