Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the design of water and wastewater treatment systems, pipelines, pump stations, and related infrastructure.

  • Conduct technical site studies and perform water quality and hydraulic modeling.

  • Ensure designs meet all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards.

  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications.

  • Contribute to technical white papers and support journal publications.

  • Collaborate with proposal and sales teams on RFP responses.

  • Communicate design concepts clearly to municipal clients and stakeholders.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technical staff.

  • May supervise junior team members on project tasks.

  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and relevant industry conferences.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (or related discipline).

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or FE exam passed (or required within 18 months of hire).

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater engineering.

  • Proficient in 3D/4D CADD software, engineering design principles, and Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed for client or project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience presenting technical content to municipal or regulatory clients.

  • Familiarity with multidisciplinary infrastructure project teams and permitting processes.
