Water/Wastewater Engineer
Overview
Our client, a nationally recognized environmental engineering firm, is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to support the planning, design, and construction of water/wastewater projects . This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team that's passionate about delivering impactful solutions in the water and wastewater space.
Responsibilities
Prepare engineering designs, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for wastewater projects
Ensure work aligns with budget, schedule, and quality standards
Develop technical memoranda, analyze data, and support construction-phase services
Coordinate and supervise work of junior staff, including engineers, drafters, and technicians
Engage with internal teams and external clients to ensure project success
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
6-12 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license in California or ability to obtain within six months
Proven experience in the planning, design, and construction of wastewater treatment facilities
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a team and deliver high-quality results within scope
Preferred
Master's degree in Environmental Engineering
