Position Overview

We are seeking a licensed Architect to join our Richmond, VA office. The ideal candidate will have experience in all phases of architectural design and project management. This role involves collaborating with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver projects that meet aesthetic, functional, and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage architectural projects from concept through completion, ensuring design excellence and adherence to project goals.

  • Develop detailed architectural plans, drawings, and specifications using Revit and other design software.

  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to integrate design solutions and ensure project feasibility.

  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address any design-related issues.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.

  • Participate in client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating design concepts and project updates.

  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

  • Licensed Architect (RA) with active registration in Virginia.

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architectural design and project management.

  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.

  • Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and materials.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
