Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer II to join our dynamic team. This role will support multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with Project Managers to develop grading, utility, roadway, and drainage designs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with civil engineering design software and a strong foundation in site development and stormwater management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects including site planning, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and street improvements.
- Prepare engineering drawings and specifications using AutoCAD, Civil3D, and other design tools.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and other team members to ensure timely and accurate project delivery.
- Apply relevant codes, standards, and regulations in design and construction documentation.
- Conduct technical analysis and support permitting processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in civil site design and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microsoft Office, and WWHM.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Solid organizational and technical problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with local, state, and federal design standards and permitting processes.
- Familiarity with hydrology and hydraulic modeling tools.
