Civil Engineering Project Manager - Indianapolis
A growing civil engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join its team in the Indianapolis or Louisville area. This is a great opportunity for a licensed PE to take on a well-rounded role with exposure to project delivery, client interaction, and team coordination across land development projects.
You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver designs that align with current standards, specifications, and best practices. The role offers strong involvement in project management, planning, and technical execution.
Responsibilities
* Manage project performance including budgets, timelines, and delivery
* Oversee and support junior staff and coordinate team workload
* Prepare CAD designs, plan sets, and technical specifications
* Complete quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and engineering calculations
* Produce technical reports and support permitting processes
* Review shop drawings and perform engineering analysis
* Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal design teams
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
* 4 to 6 years of relevant experience
* Professional Engineer license in Indiana or Kentucky
* Experience with site design and land development projects
* Proficiency or willingness to develop skills in AutoCAD Civil 3D
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
