They have built a strong reputation in the design and maintenance of exterior building envelope systems. They serve a diverse range of sectors including education (K-12 and higher ed), municipal infrastructure, corporate and commercial developments, and sports facilities. Their strength lies in combining deep technical expertise with a collaborative approach that ensures each project aligns with our clients' goals and values.

They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director-level professional to join their team in Greenville. This role requires advanced knowledge in architecture or engineering, particularly in roofing and waterproofing systems, supported by extensive hands-on experience and formal education. The position reports directly to the company's President.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver innovative, high-quality consulting services in building envelope design and assessment
  • Respond promptly and effectively to client needs
  • Oversee field teams and construction activities to ensure top-tier project execution
  • Conduct both destructive and non-destructive investigations and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Perform site inspections and evaluations related to roofing and construction concerns
  • Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records
  • Cultivate new client relationships while supporting ongoing facility management and construction projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience in architectural/engineering consulting or construction
  • Professional certifications such as Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Roof Consultant (RRC), Registered Exterior Wall Consultant (REWC), or Registered Waterproofing Consultant (RWC)
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working in active construction environments, including climbing ladders and navigating building exteriors in various weather conditions
  • Proficient in using hand tools and equipment for investigative work
