Estimator
I'm looking for an experienced Estimator to support utility-scale solar and storage projects. This role involves developing accurate cost estimates, analyzing drawings and specs, and working with internal teams and vendors to support bids and planning.
Responsibilities:
Create detailed cost estimates for solar PV and BESS projects
Review project plans and technical documents
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams
Evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
Maintain cost databases and support bid development
Requirements:
3+ years in utility-scale solar or large-scale construction estimating
Familiarity with PV systems and project cost drivers
Experience with estimating tools (e.g., RSMeans, HeavyBid)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred:
Experience with energy storage systems
Knowledge of permitting and interconnection processes
