Estimator - Heavy Civil Construction
Salary: $135,000- $185,000 + Bonus(s)

A well-established general contractor in the Woodinville area is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging heavy civil projects and contribute to the success of a respected construction firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy civil projects including roadways, bridges, utilities, and site development.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine accurate quantities and pricing.
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure estimates align with project goals.
- Maintain historical cost data and assist in budgeting and forecasting.
Experience Needed
- 3+ years of experience in estimating for heavy civil construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Experience with estimating software (e.g., HCSS, Bid2Win) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with DOT specifications and public works projects preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
