Job Title: Head of Project Management


Role Overview:

The Head of Project Management will oversee data center development projects across Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Indonesia, Taiwan, and other APAC regions. As a key member of the Central Design & Build team, this role ensures that all new data center projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and scope expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards aligned with corporate guidelines.
  • Oversee and negotiate change orders and maintain comprehensive project logs.
  • Liaise with clients and consultants to facilitate construction activities.
  • Monitor construction progress with on-site teams to ensure adherence to schedule and budget.
  • Address and resolve critical issues within company protocols.
  • Represent the organization in meetings with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project.
  • Handle financial aspects of contracts, including billing and cost tracking.
  • Prepare high-quality project proposals and plans based on business needs and available resources.
  • Coordinate project personnel to ensure timely and budget-compliant execution.
  • Track delivery timelines for equipment and services from various providers.
  • Provide regular progress reports and update project plans as needed.
  • Act as an escalation point for service-impacting incidents and manage ad-hoc requests.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and ensure proper documentation and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Project Management.

Essential Competencies & Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in hyperscale data center construction with multinational corporations (10 years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of hyperscale data center design and commissioning requirements.
  • Familiarity with statutory submission processes in Hong Kong and/or other APAC regions.
  • Experience with greenfield and brownfield data center construction.
  • Ability to reference past hyperscale data center projects, including IT power, utility capacity, system redundancy, cooling systems, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills with multinational clients, consultants, government authorities, and utilities.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (written and spoken), including complex reporting.
