HR Manager
A leading renewable energy developer specializing in utility-scale solar and storage projects across Northern Asia is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their Tokyo-based team. With over a decade of experience and a development pipeline exceeding 700MW, the company is entering a dynamic growth phase, aiming to expand by 10-15 new hires annually.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes to support annual hiring targets.
- Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier professionals in engineering, project development, and corporate functions.
- Build relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, and industry networks.
HR Policy & Compliance
- Establish, implement, and update HR policies in alignment with Japanese labor laws and global best practices.
- Ensure compliance with employment regulations and internal governance standards.
HR Operations & Generalist Duties
- Oversee employee onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes.
- Manage compensation and benefits administration.
- Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and engagement initiatives.
Organizational Development
- Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational design.
- Drive initiatives that foster a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a fast-growing or international environment.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese labor law and HR best practices.
- Fluent in Japanese and proficient in English.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural team.
