About the Role
Actively seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join their team as a Director of Investments. This role involves strategy, analysis, new market identification, M&A and financing transactions, and support for all aspects of the business.
What You'll Do
- Build and review financial models to support investment decisions, focusing on project returns, capital structure optimization, risk assessment, and upside potential.
- Present analytical findings clearly and concisely to management.
- Lead due diligence and manage third-party deliverables throughout deal processes.
- Support transaction leads in negotiating documentation for debt and tax equity financings, acquisitions, and opportunistic sales across new projects and the existing portfolio (development, construction, and operational stages).
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree and at least five years of experience; strong financial modeling skills, preferably in Excel.
- Demonstrated academic and professional achievement, excellent communication skills, and ability to collaborate within a small team.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High motivation and interest in renewable energy projects and/or U.S. electricity markets preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Expected annual base salary: $140,000-$180,000 (commensurate with experience).
