Land Development Engineer
About the Role
Our client is a growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate looking to begin their career in a collaborative environment while gaining exposure to a diverse range of projects across land development, public infrastructure, hydraulics and hydrology, and municipal engineering.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers, receiving hands-on training, technical mentorship, and the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that support growing communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the design and development of civil engineering projects
- Support engineering analyses, calculations, and research efforts
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and project documentation
- Collaborate with project teams throughout planning, design, and delivery phases
- Attend project meetings and contribute to technical discussions
- Assist with the implementation of engineering solutions in accordance with project requirements and industry standards
- Support project coordination and communication with internal stakeholders
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and engineering best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in:
- Civil Engineering
- Or a related engineering discipline
- Strong academic background and understanding of engineering fundamentals
- Familiarity with engineering software and design tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and develop professionally
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
