Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Manager

Location: Taichung, Taiwan

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Manager to join a leading international team in Taichung, Taiwan. This role is focused on substations for utility-scale renewable energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong balance between hands-on technical work and the ability to understand and explain engineering designs, drawings, and concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the mechanical and low voltage engineering efforts for offshore and onshore substation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians and other team members.
  • Review and interpret engineering designs, including single line drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage project time lines and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of engineering experience, with a focus on mechanical engineering and low voltage systems.
  • Experience in subtations, facilities or manufacturing, including related systems such as fire systems or water systems.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
  • Strong balance between hands-on technical work and understanding of engineering design and concepts.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
