Project Engineer III - Electrical Power Distribution

What You'll Do:
- Design and coordinate overhead and underground electric distribution projects in compliance with NESC, RUS, and other applicable standards and codes
- Review and seal distribution designs-both your own and those developed by others-to ensure quality and code compliance
- Work directly with clients, utilities, and stakeholders to coordinate design and construction efforts
- Assist with permitting, easement acquisition, and other project documentation
- Support engineering deliverables including reports, calculations, plans, and construction specs
- Conduct site visits and field observations; document findings and provide actionable feedback
- Manage multiple active projects with attention to budget, schedule, safety, and quality
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients, providing timely updates and solutions
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of distribution design experience (overhead and underground)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Strong communication and project management skills; Microsoft Project experience is a plus
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D is a bonus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Willingness to travel up to 10% and conduct field work as needed
