Position Summary

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects (brownfield & greenfield) from planning through completion. This role involves close coordination with field teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems across commercial and industrial facilities, and a passion for driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of mechanical construction projects, including HVAC installations, retrofits, and system upgrades.
  • Coordinate with field supervisors, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Oversee project financials including budgeting, forecasting, billing, and cost control.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure adherence to timelines and milestones.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and client specifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Identify opportunities for energy savings and system improvements during project planning and execution.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and control systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout central & south TX.
