Project Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee electrical substation and transmission & distribution (T&D) projects for PECO in the Philadelphia region. This role requires a strong background in utility infrastructure, project execution, and stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of electrical substation and T&D projects, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Coordinate with PECO stakeholders, engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
- Oversee permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and utility requirements.
- Prepare and present project status reports to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead project meetings and maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience managing utility infrastructure projects, specifically substations and T&D.
- Familiarity with PECO standards and processes is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, utility coordination, and construction practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Based in Philadelphia with occasional site visits across the PECO service area.
- Hybrid or remote flexibility may be considered depending on project needs.
