Senior Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Engineer
Position Summary
Seeking an experienced EIC Engineer to lead design and execution of projects in the energy and utility sectors. This role involves overseeing electrical and I&C design packages, coordinating across disciplines, mentoring junior staff, and supporting client and vendor interactions throughout project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design: one-line diagrams, grounding, lighting, conduit routing, equipment specs, and system studies (ETAP/SKM).
- Oversee I&C design: instrument lists, loop/wiring diagrams, control panels, PLCs/RTUs/SCADA, and network architecture.
- Conduct site visits, support proposals, and participate in safety reviews (HAZOP/LOPA).
- Ensure QA/QC compliance and provide construction support.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal standards and tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's may substitute for 1 year of experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience; EPC project background preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ANSI/IEEE standards, electrical equipment, and engineering software.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus eligibility.
