A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to manage complex geotechnical aspects of major projects, deliver innovative design solutions, and provide expert recommendations during construction. What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage geotechnical services on-time and within budget.
  • Prepare and refine reports, specifications, plan details, and designs.
  • Serve as a technical resource across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Develop and oversee subsurface exploration programs.
  • Prepare cost estimates, define scope, and craft proposals.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of design efforts.
  • Use advanced design software for engineering recommendations.
  • Participate in Design-Build projects, advising on constructability, sequencing, and cost.
  • Conduct design calculations, investigations, and develop contract documents (plans, specs, estimates).
  • Engage in client-facing activities including scoping, fee estimating, and interviews.
  • Provide on-site support when required.

What You Bring

  • B.S. in Geotechnical Engineering (M.S. preferred).
  • 16+ years of geotechnical design experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification required.
  • Expertise in static and dynamic load testing (highly desired).
  • Field experience in site grading, slope stabilization, retaining walls, and foundation construction (preferred).
  • Design-Build experience is a plus.
