Senior Program Manager - Aviation

LVI are working with a national U.S client currently searching for a Senior Program Manager with deep expertise in the aviation sector. This role focuses on the oversight and delivery of large-scale capital programs at major air-carrier airports, particularly in the Mid-Atlantic region. The successful candidate will play a key leadership role within the aviation team and collaborate directly with client decision-makers, engineering and construction partners, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the owner's representative, managing relationships with design and construction teams, and guiding project execution.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex aviation infrastructure projects, including terminal modernization, baggage systems, and airside improvements (runways, taxiways, RSA upgrades).
  • Apply knowledge of FAA guidelines and circulars, and support various project delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3).
  • Develop and manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, including ISO-9001 protocols.
  • Mentor staff and contribute to internal leadership development.
  • Represent the firm at industry events and support business development efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) is a REQUIRED
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in aviation consulting, including planning, design, and program management.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary teams and large-scale aviation projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle P6.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
