Senior Project Architect/Manager - Data Center & Mission Critical Facilities

Location: Baltimore, MD | Washington, DC | Northern Virginia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Flexible remote work with periodic on-site collaboration)


About the Role

We are seeking a licensed Senior Project Architect/Manager with a strong background in data center and mission-critical facility design. This role involves leading interdisciplinary teams through all project phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering high-quality, efficient designs. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex technical projects and coordinating with various stakeholders to meet project goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architectural design and project management of data center and mission-critical facilities from concept through construction.

  • Coordinate with internal and external engineering teams, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive project execution.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development.

  • Engage in client interactions, presentations, and meetings to communicate project progress and address concerns.


Qualifications

  • Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

  • Licensed Architect (RA) with a minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design and project management.

  • Extensive experience in data center and mission-critical facility projects.

  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.

  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards, including IBC, NFPA, and Unified Facility Criteria (UFC).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment and travel to project sites as needed.
