Senior Project Manager HVAC

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior HVAC Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale HVAC projects in heavy commercial and industrial sectors. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing complex mechanical systems from pre-construction through closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Manage all phases of HVAC projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, execution, and closeout.
• Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
• Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure project milestones are met.
• Budget & Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, track costs, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
• Scheduling: Create and maintain detailed project schedules using tools like MS Project or Primavera.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records including RFIs, change orders, submittals, and progress reports.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in HVAC project management, specifically in heavy commercial or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical design.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, AutoCAD).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• PMP or similar certification is a plus.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
