Senior Structural Engineer

A leading international engineering and design consultancy is seeking experienced and motivated Structural Engineers with 5-10 years of experience to join their growing team in Kansas City. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile, technically challenging projects in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

You'll be part of a team that designs innovative structures across a wide range of sectors-commercial, healthcare, education, sports, and public infrastructure. You'll contribute to all phases of design and construction, while continuing to grow your technical and leadership skills.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, and other structural systems
  • Develop and interpret 2D and 3D structural models
  • Assist with construction administration, including site visits and shop drawing reviews
  • Understand and apply building codes to determine gravity and lateral load paths
  • Support the preparation of design drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports
  • Collaborate closely with structural engineers and project managers in a team-oriented environment

What We're Looking For

  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering
  • 4-8 years of relevant experience
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in your resident state
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software
  • Experience with Revit, Rhino, or Grasshopper is a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • A collaborative mindset and a client-focused attitude
