Key Responsibilities
- Lead ESG and sustainability reporting engagements for major clients, including compliance with emerging Australian and international disclosure requirements.
- Oversee development of sustainability frameworks, materiality assessments, and assurance‑ready reporting structures.
- Advise clients on climate‑related risks, transition planning, scenario analysis, and broader sustainability compliance obligations.
- Mentor and develop junior team members while contributing to internal capability building.
- Engage directly with executive‑level stakeholders and boards to guide them through regulatory changes and best‑practice reporting expectations.
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, client seminars, and industry presentations.
About You
- 8+ years experience in sustainability reporting, ESG assurance, climate risk, or sustainability compliance.
- Ideally from a Big 4 consulting environment, or another reputable advisory, audit, or corporate sustainability team.
- Strong knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks such as ISSB/IFRS S1 & S2, TCFD, GRI, ERRT, or other relevant standards.
- Ability to manage complex projects and confidently engage senior stakeholders.
- Proven experience leading teams, delivering ESG reporting programs, and driving commercial outcomes.
- Excellent communication, analytical and client advisory skills.
