A leading multidisciplinary firm is seeking a passionate and experienced Civil Engineer to lead and expand its Green Infrastructure and Resiliency practice. Role Overview

The selected candidate will lead a growing team focused on green infrastructure and resiliency. This role involves managing public space design projects-such as parks, trails, and stormwater systems-while also supporting broader site planning and design efforts. There is also an opportunity to help expand the firm's private sector work with clients who value sustainable and equitable development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a compact team of engineering designers.
  • Manage green infrastructure design projects for public agencies and other clients.
  • Oversee planning and conceptual design studies, including technical reporting and presentations.
  • Guide projects from schematic design through construction documentation.
  • Conduct technical reviews of drawings, calculations, cost estimates, and specifications.
  • Handle project management tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and invoicing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants across disciplines.
  • Participate in business development, including networking, proposal writing, and client engagement.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant design experience
  • Proven project management skills
  • Proficiency in relevant design and modeling software
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Passion for sustainable, holistic, and equitable community design
