Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis and design for buildings, bridges, or infrastructure projects using steel, concrete, wood, and masonry materials.
Lead preparation of structural drawings, specifications, and engineering reports.
Review and stamp structural designs and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Conduct structural assessments, evaluations, and retrofit recommendations.
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Perform site visits for inspections, construction support, and quality control.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance as needed.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables in collaboration with project managers.
Required Skills:
Advanced proficiency in structural analysis/design software
Strong drafting and modeling skills using AutoCAD, Revit, or Tekla.
Thorough understanding of building codes and standards
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Effective project management and time management capabilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting and client interaction.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in at least one U.S. state (multi-state licensure is a plus).
3-7 years of experience in structural design and engineering.
Demonstrated experience with a variety of structural systems and construction methods.
Knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and field operations.
Experience in both new construction and renovation/retrofit projects is advantageous.
