Structural Engineer
A top regional client based in Eagan, MN is seeking a motivated early-career professional to join their team and support infrastructure and building projects across both public and private sectors.
Responsibilities
- Assist in site evaluations and structural assessments.
- Support design and documentation using CAD and modeling tools.
- Analyze survey and geotechnical data for project planning.
- Contribute to safety and compliance reviews.
- Participate in engineering studies and field observations.
- Follow safety protocols and project procedures.
- Collaborate with teams and complete assigned training.
- Adapt to evolving project needs and contribute to team goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Up to one year of relevant post-graduate experience.
- Strong analytical and research capabilities.
- Familiarity with design/build processes and construction documentation.
- Understanding of engineering codes, compliance standards, and record-keeping practices.
- Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively under general supervision.
- Basic proficiency in technical writing and office software tools.
- Exposure to design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS, or similar platforms.
- Willingness to travel occasionally based on project requirements.
- Ability to work flexible hours when needed.
