Position Overview:
We're seeking a Superintendent with hands-on experience in geotechnical construction to oversee field operations across multiple project sites in North Carolina. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise crews on-site for installation of micropiles, soil nails, tiebacks, and shotcrete.
- Coordinate daily field operations, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Manage site logistics, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.
- Maintain safety standards and enforce site-specific safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients.
- Travel throughout North Carolina to support active job sites.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in geotechnical or deep foundation construction.
- Strong knowledge of ground engineering techniques and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly across North Carolina.
- OSHA certification and other relevant safety training preferred.
