Surveyor
I'm working with a client who is seeking an experienced land surveyor in Salt Lake City to support a variety of development and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in LiDAR technology and construction staking, along with a solid understanding of boundary and topographic surveying. This is a great opportunity to contribute to high-impact work in a growing region.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct land surveys to establish property boundaries and topographic features.
- Prepare detailed survey reports, plats, and maps for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
- Review, sign, and stamp documents required for legal and project compliance, including boundary surveys, legal descriptions, rights-of-way (ROWs), and easement descriptions .
- Oversee field crews and survey technicians, ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to survey methods.
- Train staff on data collection techniques, survey control setup, and equipment handling.
- Use CAD and robotic surveying equipment for layout and data processing.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and contractors to support construction and land development projects.
