Job Title: Traveling Construction Superintendent - Fast Food Restaurant Projects
Location: Nationwide Travel (Home Base Preferred)

Reports To: Project Manager / Director of Construction
Travel Required: 90-100%
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Traveling Construction Superintendent with proven experience managing fast food restaurant construction projects. This role requires extensive travel to job sites across the country, overseeing all phases of construction from groundbreaking to final turnover. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of fast-paced, schedule-driven environments and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day on-site construction activities for fast food restaurant builds and remodels.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and proactively address delays or issues.
- Conduct daily site inspections and maintain accurate project documentation, including logs, reports, and photos.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and local building codes.
- Oversee site logistics, including deliveries, equipment, and materials.
- Lead project closeout, punch list completion, and turnover to client.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with at least 3 years in fast food or quick-service restaurant (QSR) projects.
- Proven track record of managing multiple ground-up and/or remodel projects across various locations.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
- Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with national fast food brands (e.g., McDonald's, Taco Bell, Chick-fil-A, Wendy's, etc.).
- Familiarity with franchisee and corporate construction standards.
- Background in both ground-up and interior remodel projects.
