About the Role
As a Water Resources Engineer, you will support the planning, design, and delivery of a wide range of municipal water and infrastructure projects. Working alongside experienced engineers and project managers, you will play a key role in developing engineering solutions that improve water systems and community resilience.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of water resources and municipal infrastructure projects
- Support project planning, analysis, and execution alongside senior engineers
- Prepare technical reports, calculations, and engineering documentation
- Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analysis to support design solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and public agencies to deliver projects
- Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards
- Contribute to problem-solving and development of practical engineering solutions

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in water resources or municipal engineering
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or actively PE licensed in North Carolina
- Experience working with municipalities or public-sector clients is advantageous
- Familiarity with standard engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar)
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
