Job Title: Account Manager - New England Region
Location: Remote (based in or near New England)
Travel: Up to 50% within the region
About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Account Manager to oversee and grow our client base across the New England region. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in water treatment, process systems, or industrial services, who thrives on building relationships, solving technical challenges, and delivering value to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers in the region, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Sales & Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, develop strategic sales plans, and meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Technical Consultation: Provide technical support and guidance on water treatment systems, process optimization, and service solutions.
- Project Oversight: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support of customer projects.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy and product development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in technical sales, account management, or field service within the water treatment or industrial process industry.
- Strong understanding of water chemistry, treatment technologies, and industrial systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a regional territory.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly within New England.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with municipal, industrial, or commercial water treatment systems.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting platforms.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CWT) are a plus.
