Applications Engineer role for a global company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical advisor for customers within advanced manufacturing environments, supporting process optimization and operational excellence initiatives.
- Develop strong relationships with engineering and operations stakeholders to understand site challenges and deliver tailored technical solutions.
- Analyze system performance data and provide recommendations to improve efficiency, reliability, and sustainability outcomes for clients.
- Support technology implementation, pilot programs, and continuous improvement projects across customer sites.
- Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions to customer and internal teams.
- Work closely with sales and project teams to identify growth opportunities and ensure successful solution deployment.
Requirements:
- Chemical Engineering Degree
- Experience supporting advanced manufacturing water treatment sites
- 3-8 years of experience supporting industrial manufacturing facilities, process utilities, water treatment systems, or critical facility operations
- Comfortable working in customer-facing environments and providing technical consultation to multiple stakeholders
- Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites for technical support, audits, project execution, and relationship management activities
- Strong presentation, report-writing, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of industrial water systems, wastewater treatment, cooling water, boiler systems, ultrapure water, chemical treatment programs, or critical utilities would be an advantage
