Architectural Project Manager

A reputable, national Architecture, Engineering, and Development practice is seeking it's next highly talented Architectural Project Manager in Michigan. This role can be hybrid-flexible and would primarily work out of an office in either Lansing, Grand Rapids, or Southfield, MI. Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of small to midsize projects, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Serve as the central communication hub for clients, project teams, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Develop project scopes, estimate design fees, obtain consultant proposals, and draft comprehensive proposals and contracts for senior leadership review.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients and consultants, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with client satisfaction as a priority.
  • Efficiently manage project budgets, schedules, meeting records, documentation, client communications, and team assignments.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversee the development of project documents for various sizes and scopes.
  • Maintain quality control for all design deliverables.
  • Lead project teams to execute assignments in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Collaborate with other project managers to allocate and oversee staffing needs effectively.
  • Mentor and supervise less experienced technical team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Proficient in tools like Bluebeam, MS Office Suite (including MS Project), Deltek, and NewForma; experience with Revit is a plus!
  • Architectural licensure is required
  • Experience managing complex projects across markets such as K-12 Education, Retail, Manufacturing, Municipal, Public Works, or Retail & Restaurant!
