Architectural Project Manager
An environment consultancy firm is hiring an Architectural Project Manager to lead multiple K-12 educational facility projects in Lake Forest, CA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing, leadership-driven environment and enjoys managing projects from early design through construction.
This position involves guiding project teams, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and overseeing all phases of architectural development, including DSA submissions and approvals.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead architectural efforts for multiple K-12 projects of varying size and complexity
- Manage all phases of design and construction, from concept through completion
- Serve as the primary client contact, in collaboration with the Managing Principal Architect
- Submit drawings to DSA and manage intake and back-check responses
- Assign tasks, mentor team members, and maintain project quality
- Respond to RFIs and coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in K-12 architectural projects
- Familiarity with DSA processes preferred
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture preferred
- Architectural license preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Revit
