Associate Developer
A client of ours is a utility-scale IPP in the solar and BESS space, well-backed by a US-based leading renewable investment firm. An impressive and fast-growing start-up led by industry veterans, with projects already in construction, and continuing to build pipeline through M&A opportunities across various US territories. They are currently seeking an Associate Developer to join their mission, supporting the advancement of existing utility-scale solar and BESS projects in their pipeline, in addition to evaluating M&A opportunities.
Ideal Candidate Criteria:
- 3+ years of renewable energy experience, preferably project development in the utility-scale space.
- Experience with utility-scale solar, stand-alone storage, and/or hybrid solar + storage projects.
- Ability to evaluate M&A opportunities and support due diligence activities on acquisitions of projects at early, mid, or late stages.
- Ability to support and advance projects up to construction hand-off.
- Understanding of various US markets, as our client currently has strong presence across (TX, Desert SW, NY, and continuing to grow pipeline across SPP, MISO, ERCOT, WECC, CAISO, PJM.)
- The ability to work cross-functionally and strategically with a fast-paced organization.
