Overview:
We're looking for a meticulous and forward-thinking AV Design Engineer to contribute to the development and execution of sophisticated audiovisual solutions. This role involves working across all phases of project delivery-from concept through deployment-ensuring systems are tailored to client needs and meet high standards of performance and reliability.

Key Duties:

  • Interpret project requirements, client expectations, and design revisions to shape engineering activities across the full project timeline.
  • Lead and support the configuration, testing, and integration of AV technologies at client sites.
  • Conduct system evaluations to verify functionality and adherence to design criteria.
  • Develop comprehensive engineering documentation, including schematics, specifications, and client-facing materials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align schedules and resources for smooth project execution.
  • Apply CAD tools and other design software to produce accurate technical outputs.
  • Offer expert insights to troubleshoot issues, enhance system efficiency, and support budgetary goals.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of audiovisual systems and current industry practices.
  • Skilled in CAD and other engineering design platforms.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Clear and professional communication with both clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and respond to evolving project demands.
  • Familiarity with project coordination methodologies is advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working directly with AV system setup, configuration, and validation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical training in AV systems.
  • AVIXA CTS certification.
  • Demonstrated expertise in technologies such as:
    • Display and projection systems
    • Video conferencing platforms
    • High-performance audio solutions
    • Automation and control systems
    • Signal routing and distribution frameworks
